Responsibilities
- Drawing (AutoCAD, OpenRoads Designer) assignments to assist in development of project plans.
- Standard computations or analysis.
- Observe construction activities, assist with materials testing.
- Perform basic survey services.
- Perform bridge inspections in the field and assist with generating inspection reports.
- Affords assistance on other tasks such as: hydrology and hydraulics studies, report preparation, preparation of permit applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in progress; currently enrolled at an accredited university majoring in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in transportation or construction engineering a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of civil engineering to projects.
- High level of creativity.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Successful candidates will be articulate with professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
