Civil Engineering Project Manager - Land Development
About the role
The Civil Engineering Project Manager position at Timmons Group is based in our Greensboro, NC office. This role involves leading various types of projects including multi-family and mixed-use developments, as well as public infrastructure such as schools, parks, and fire stations.
Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts using Civil 3D and other modeling technologies
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates
- Work to complete design details and plan sets
- Cook up coordination with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states in which Timmons Group conducts business is preferred
- 6+ years of experience in land development
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software
