Civil Engineering Internship - Rail Track

About the role

As an intern on the Rail Track team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll be part of a team, working for our clients on projects involving railroad track and civil design, with our most experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Basic project design through CAD drafting
• Performing research
• Writing technical reports
• Traveling to job sites for observation as needed

You bring to the team:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail

Location

We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Omaha, NE or Loveland, CO office location.
