Civil Engineering Intern
About the role
This Opportunity: Join a collaborative, close-knit team working on municipal roadway and utility projects both on construction sites and in the office. Support field staff by assisting with on-site construction observation, construction surveying, and staking. Assist project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks, while maintaining effective communication with staff, contractors, and clients. Accurately draft project information using AutoCAD and related software.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Available to work from the office during the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Able and willing to report to the Omaha, NE office several times per week during the school year and full-time in the office during the summer.
- Completed or currently enrolled in engineering-related coursework.
- Interested in municipal engineering and/or land development projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Completed or currently enrolled in engineering-related coursework.
Skills
- Basic AutoCAD tasks through coursework or prior employment.

Pay
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $21and $24 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Schedule
Available to work from the office during the 2026-2027 academic year, reporting to the Omaha, NE office several times per week during the school year and full-time in the office during the summer.
