Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students to join its Boise, Idaho (ID) office. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs regularly to analyze, produce, and Quality Control (QC) deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects of varying sizes and scopes.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices, procedures, and standards.
- Interns will gain proficiency in one or more specialized software programs relevant to their discipline: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
Qualifications
- In the process of receiving an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
