Civil Engineering Co-op Student (Fall 2026)
About the role
The Dynamic New York City Civil team at Stantec is seeking a Co-op student for the 2026 Fall Semester. This opportunity involves assisting engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for various civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of contract documents and reports for civil engineering projects.
- Use computer aided design and drafting software (AutoCAD/Microstation).
- Perform simple design calculations and check drawings and calculations.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and field inspections.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to CAD Design programs (AutoCAD/Microstation).
- Current good academic standing in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
- Past experience with Civil 3D and/or Bentley Inroads/Openroads Designer is preferred.
- A 40-hour/week commitment.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD Design programs (AutoCAD/Microstation).
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or Bentley Inroads/Openroads Designer.

Pay
$23.47 - $34.50 hourly.

Full time.
Additional Information
This position requires a 40-hour/week commitment. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Fall Co-op Interns are expected to work 40 hours/week minimum in the office.
