About the role

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firm
- Work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time
- Obtain required construction permits, including sediment and erosion control, coastal stormwater, water/wastewater
- Work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locations
- Manage time effectively, communicate clearly, analyze situations, and interact professionally
- Prepare bids and proposals, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications, prepare permit submittals, and assist in providing bid services and construction monitoring
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited college/university
- Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) Registration
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering and site design
- Ability to obtain military base access
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in specific requirements affecting coastal communities in North Carolina and South Carolina
Skills
- Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Civil 3D
