What You’ll Do

• Oversight of multiple IDOT phase I, II or phase III projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog.
• Manage client relationships, cultivate new business connections, and collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue.
• Manage current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff.
• Software skills: Microsoft 365, MicroStation/Open Roads, and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial).
• Adaptability: excel at adapting to changing project requirements.
