Civil Engineer - Senior Technical

About the Role

This role requires direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline. The role primarily focuses on land development projects primarily within the retail, commercial, and residential space and will focus on working municipal agencies and multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Site Layout
• Grading and Earthwork calculations
• Storm Water Management Design and Permitting
• Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting
• Preparation/Submission of Local Land Development Permits
• Quality Assurance
• Mentoring and Development of Junior Staff

Required Experience

• 8 years of civil or utility-related engineering experience
• PE License, preferred
• Site layout, grading, storm water and erosion control design expertise
• Civil-related utility design expertise
• Trenchless technology design expertise
• Construction/constructability expertise as it relates to production of design drawings and resolution of field issues
• Foundation/geotechnical experience and understanding
• Specification writing
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a civil engineer with a PE license in the state they will be working out of
• Experience with leadership and mentoring junior staff members

Pay

Salary range of $90,000 to $130,000. Your offer would be based on your experience, skills, and fit for the role.
