A PE license in the state where you will be working is required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in land development engineering
- Proven leadership experience managing full-time staff
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations
- Experience with municipal agencies, regulatory bodies, and private sector clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of retail, commercial, and residential land development projects
- Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations
- Oversee project teams, assign resources, and drive efficiency
- Ensure projects meet all quality, schedule, and budgetary requirements
- Present at public meetings and represent clients before agencies and stakeholders
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines within BL Companies and with external partners
- Mentor junior engineers and staff, fostering a strong learning environment

Pay
The position has a salary range of $90,000 to $140,000. Your offer would be based on your experience, skills, and fit for the role.
