Civil Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)
About the role
MIG, Inc. is a national firm specializing in planning, design, communications, management, science, and technology. We are seeking an experienced, mid-level, licensed Civil Engineer to join our infrastructure and design services team full-time in either our Seattle, WA or Denver, CO offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to create innovative civil engineering design solutions
- Aid in the preparation of plans, technical reports, and construction specifications documents
- Prepare calculations, quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimates
- Complete stormwater modeling and design
- Provide construction administration support
- Support junior-level staff on projects
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- A Professional Engineer license in any state (California or multiple states is a plus)
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites locally and in various states
- Familiarity with Department of Ecology Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington
- Experience with preparing plans, specifications, estimate of probable costs, and technical information reports
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptable and willing to pitch in, train, and help others
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software (WWHM, MGSFlood, etc.), Word, and Excel
- Experience using MicroStation/OpenRoads is a plus

Pay
The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, location, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate with 7-14 years of experience is $90,000-$150,000. Additionally, we offer discretionary performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions.
Schedule
MIG supports the hybrid model, with a blend of in-office and work-from-home schedules.
