Civil Engineer Mid-Level - Land Development

Qualifications

Mid‑level Civil Engineer – Land Development with 4+ years of experience in land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design.

Responsibilities

• Grade sites and design post‑construction stormwater management systems.
• Use Civil 3D extensively to prepare alignments, surfaces, cut profiles, and generate contours.
• Assist the Senior Engineer in procuring municipal land development and NPDES approvals, including researching regulations and attending agency meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams across multiple offices on design, permitting, and construction components.
• Prepare technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.
• Research permit requirements and local regulations.
• Provide support and assistance to senior team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in utility design and/or land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• BSCEEIT certification preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
