Responsibilities
- Support and lead the planning, design, and development of site and land development projects.
- Prepare engineering plans, reports, specifications, and permit applications.
- Cookordination with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
- Aid in construction-phase services, including reviews, site visits, and project support.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other design professionals to deliver successful projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- 11-15 years of relevant experience in civil/site land development engineering.
- Experience with the planning, design, permitting, and construction support of residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial development projects.
- Experience working on projects within the Mid-Atlantic region preferred.
- Stormwater Management (SWM) and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) design and permitting experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative design team.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
