Civil Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Lead design of site grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility systems for complex developments, including themed attraction projects
• Prepare calculations, construction plans, and technical reports supporting permitting and delivery
• Closely collaborate with architecture, design and interdisciplinary engineering (AD&E) firms to develop integrated, experience-driven solutions
• Manage multiple projects, schedules, and deliverables with accountability for quality and deadlines
• Perform QA/QC reviews and resolve design and field challenges, including RFIs and site coordination
• Participate in site visits to ensure designs are effectively implemented in the field
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team
• Support proposals and client relationships, including pursuits involving theme park and destination projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in civil engineering
• B.S. or M.S. Engineering degree
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, reciprocity in multiple states
• Experience with full 3D BIM/CAD modeling, including clash detection and resolution
• Experience adhering to and upholding structured CAD standards
• Ensures constructability and long-term maintenance considerations in all design work
