GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm founded in 1961, is seeking a summer 2027 intern for its Madison, WI office. The internship provides hands‑on experience in civil engineering duties related to site development, municipal engineering, and more, within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the role

The internship begins in the summer of 2027 and offers a blend of independent tasks and project‑team work, allowing the intern to grow personally and professionally while contributing to real projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with civil engineering duties related to site development.
• Support municipal engineering projects.
• Participate in additional engineering tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Current sophomore standing while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering.
• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and eagerness to learn.
• Enjoy a balance of independent tasks and teamwork.
