About the role
The Phoenix, AZ office of Wilson & Company is seeking a full-time Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support the Roadway group. The ideal candidate will have experience in Roadway Engineering and enjoy working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic design of Highways and Municipal Roadways.
- Support production of construction plans and documents.
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines both internally and externally.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Good intrapersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with peers, senior staff, and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET accredited school.
- Engineering Intern Certification.
- 0-3 years’ experience in civil design.
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation software is highly preferred.
Skills

Pay
Hourly Earnings: $36.00 - $45.00 (Depending on Experience)
