Civil Engineer / Drainage

About the role

The City of Pueblo is seeking a Civil Engineer in Drainage.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support related to the operation and maintenance of City stormwater infrastructure.
• Prepare master drainage plans.
• Develop flood proofing measures for structures.
• Perform hydrologic analysis and develop designs for drainage systems.
• Directly supervise employees of the roles of Associate Engineer I and Associate Engineer II within the Stormwater Division.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five years of professional civil engineering experience, including at least three years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stormwater management principles and practices.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $87,733.20 - $114,603.36.
