Civil Engineer (Data Centers)
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting, but we can format as lists.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO statement, legal, cookie/navigation, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove lines like "All qualified applicants will receive consideration..." (EEO) - remove. Also remove "Job posted on July 23, 2026. This position will be open for at least 3 days." maybe considered metadata but not boilerplate? It's not a heading; we could fold into a short
maybe under About the role? But instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can include that as a short paragraph maybe under About the role or separate? Probably better to include as a short paragraph under About the role or maybe a separate small paragraph before sections. But we must not create extra headings for metadata. We could include a
before first heading with that info.
Also remove "We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial..." that's about hybrid working policy; that is schedule info.
Also remove "Your application experience is important to us..." that's application instructions; remove.
Also remove "If you require further support..." that's application instructions; remove.
Also remove "Our health and welfare benefits are designed..." we keep as Benefits.
Also remove "Eligible employees may also enroll in a deferred compensation plan..." keep as part of Benefits.
Also remove "And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards..." keep as Benefits.
Also remove "Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors..." keep as Pay.
Also remove "The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $148,200.00." keep as Pay.
Also remove "Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave." keep as Benefits.
Also remove "Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount." keep as Benefits.

Then "Ideally, You'll Have" list:
- Bluebeam experience

- Experience using Arc GIS
- Familiarity with environmental, geotechnical, transportation, and utility due diligence processes
- Experience with conditional use permitting
We could treat "Here's what you'll need" as Requirements (or Qualifications) and "Ideally, You'll Have" as Skills (or Preferred Qualifications). Since we have Skills section, we can put the Ideally list there.
Now Benefits: paragraph(s) about health and welfare benefits, unlimited PPTO, etc.
We need to capture all substantive info:
- Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount.
- Eligible employees may also enroll in a deferred compensation plan or the Executive Deferral Plan.
- Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave.
- And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.
We can make a
- for each benefit item.
Now Pay: base salary range $110,600.00 to $148,200.00. Also note: Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
We can put that in a
.
Now Schedule: hybrid working policy: "We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work."
We can put that in a
under Schedule heading.
Now About the role: The introductory paragraphs: "At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good. Your impact This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. We're looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group, and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial, data centers and commercial facilities."
We need to preserve all that. Also maybe include the line about "Your impact" but it's part of the same sentence. We'll combine.
We also have metadata: "Job posted on July 23, 2026. This position will be open for at least 3 days." We can include as a short
before sections or after About the role. Probably after About the role as a short paragraph.
We must not include EEO statement, application instructions, etc.
Now produce HTML fragment.
