Civil Engineer (5+ yrs experience)

About the role

Andover Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Site Civil Engineer to join their team and work on a variety of land development and permitting projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on residential, commercial, and institutional projects, including subdivision roadway layouts, grading and drainage, utility design, stormwater management reports, and state/local permitting
• Prepare site permitting plans, land development plans, and associated permitting documents and applications
• Design and analyze site stormwater systems; prepare technical stormwater management reports using HydroCAD to model pre- and post-development conditions
• Attend and present at client meetings, meetings with Town officials, and public hearings

Qualifications & Skills

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) License
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site civil engineering
• Proficient in Civil3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Hydraflow, and related software
• Strong project management and communication skills; able to coordinate with team members, clients, and Town/City officials
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of critical thinking

Benefits

This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based upon experience and qualifications.

Pay

$75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
