Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and coordination of civil engineering projects related to water resources.
- Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
- Support the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
- Review project details to proactively manage risk.
- Evaluate observations and systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other industry software to develop and revise construction drawings and technical documents.
- Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate on timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct limited field visits and site observations under minimal supervision.
- Communicate project status and needs effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) certification.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other civil design software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in water/wastewater treatment or related civil engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with field observation and construction administration tasks.
