Civil Designer

At Warehaus, our civil team works across a wide range of land development projects, and we’re looking for a designer ready to step in and contribute right away. If you enjoy turning real sites into buildable solutions—and want to stay involved from early layout through permitting—this is a role where you’ll stay engaged. The role, at a glanceThis position focuses on preparing site design and land development plans using Civil 3D, working closely with project managers and engineers. You’ll be involved in grading, stormwater, utilities, and permitting, with the opportunity to take ownership of portions of the design as you grow. What you’ll doDevelop site design plans including grading, utilities, stormwater, and overall layoutPrepare subdivision and land development plans, including E&S, PCSM, NPDES, and HOP documentationInterpret surveys, zoning ordinances, and engineering drawings to inform design decisionsDesign site elements such as access and circulation, parking layouts, and utility systemsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and outside partners to keep projects movingMaintain organized, accurate plan sets and design files throughout each phaseSupport project closeout with record drawings and final documentationManage portions of design work within project schedules and budgets What you’ll bring3+ years of experience preparing land development plansProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, surfaces, alignments, plan production)Working knowledge of stormwater management, E&S requirements, and permitting processesAbility to interpret surveys, plans, and municipal regulationsExperience coordinating with municipalities or regulatory agenciesStrong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary teamExperience level will determine placement as Civil Designer or Senior Civil Designer.
