Civil Design Manager - Site Design
Job Description
Olsson provides multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services for mixed-use, commercial, and residential land development projects, along with industrial, sports, schools, and other site development types.
As a Civil Design Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects.
- Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables.
- Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution.
- Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas.
- Provides senior-level design review for various projects on the team and acts as a resource for technical issues.
- May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data.
- Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work.
- Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.
Qualifications

- Associate Degree in Drafting
- 10 years of CAD software experience (AutoCAD Civil 3d)
- Project Management skills for medium-sized projects
