Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple design teams in daily operations
- Distribute work to teams to level workload
- Monitor overall health of projects (scope, schedule, budget, etc.)
- Monitor group workload, utilization, billable hours
- Identify additional staffing needs (training, personnel)
- Mentor staff while executing office and company growth plan
- Prepare and manage proposals / contracts
- Coordinate with MSG staff across various professional services
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience managing multiple civil design engineers or teams
- Proven management process and style
- Willingness to mentor and teach younger staff
- Private development experience
