Civil Design Engineer - Transportation

About the role

Oneida Engineering Solutions (OES) is an 8(a), minority business enterprise (MBE) that provides engineering, environmental, science, and specialized professional services solutions for customers nationwide. Our primary clients are WisDOT, MnDOT, counties, municipalities, and private developers in Wisconsin. OES is seeking a Civil Design Engineer - Transportation in Madison or Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery and budgets for transportation and/or civil infrastructure projects.
• Aid in the development of proposals and estimates.
• Provide design expertise and mentorship to other staff members.
• Oversee and/or lead the development of roadway design and plans for urban and rural highways and interchanges.
• Oversee and/or lead the preparation of environmental documents, miscellaneous design reports, and final PSE packages.
• Lead meetings with clients and the general public.
• Work cooperatively with other engineers and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 0-5 years of experience working with DOT.
• Interest in transportation-related design and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Wisconsin PE or EIT preferred.

Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.
