Responsibilities

• Assuming significant responsibilities from the outset, preparing cases for trial.
• Handling a diverse and challenging caseload in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts.
• Working independently and within a team setting, with excellent research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills.
• Some travel may be required.

Requirements

• Must be admitted to the New York bar in good standing.
• Experience in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts.
• PREFERRED: Experience in aviation law, product liability, and/or premises liability.
• Excellent research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to handle files with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Pay

An estimated salary range of $140,000 to $220,000 is displayed, specifically for those applicants who will perform work in New York if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.

Hybrid work arrangements are offered, allowing you to work from both the office and remotely.
