Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Truck Operator to operate various trucks as directed while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Truck, Dump Truck, Haul Truck, and Tractor Trailer/Lowboy
• Follow prescribed safety regulations
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
• Observe equipment operation for malfunctions
• Follow work plans and pre-task cards
• Build and maintain effective relationships with diverse individuals
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Related construction experience preferred
• Current driver’s license with necessary endorsements
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
• Detail orientation
• Ability to operate equipment including levers, shift gears, depress pedals, and steer
• Knowledge of equipment and their uses
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
• Ability to work independently
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range

The base pay range for this role is $25 - $35 per hour.
