Civil Construction Supervisor-TX

About the role

You will support a greenfield power generation project involving the installation of five simple-cycle combustion turbines. This greenfield site requires comprehensive civil construction, including clearing and grading, roads, drainage, foundations, underground utilities, and concrete structures supporting combustion turbine systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities
• Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and as-built conditions
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123
• Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements
• Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems
• Participate in daily POD meetings and coordination efforts
• Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones
• Schedule coordination and milestone readiness

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience
• Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections
• 1+ years of experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
