Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by cleaning, loading, and unloading materials, and removing potential hazards.
- Operate specific types of equipment as needed, such as drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and other tools.
- Work under the supervision of the Civil Construction Labor Foreman, performing tasks like concrete removal, cutting, excavation, conduit placement, and concrete installation and finishing.
- Collaborate with tower crews to install radio access equipment at communication sites.
- Perform above and below ground conduit installation and trenching work as required.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks using manual methods and equipment.
- Travel to remote job sites as directed by management.
Requirements
- Class A Driver’s License is required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Background check is required.
- Must adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements.
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
- Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends.
- Able to lift and utilize heavy equipment safely.
- Able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be comfortable with working at heights up to 500 feet.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in construction.
- Experience in conduit installation and pipe bending for EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
- Understanding of local code requirements for work.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience in concrete removal, cutting, excavation, conduit placement, and concrete installation and finishing.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and other tools.

Schedule
Day and night shifts may be required.
Work Environment
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet, windy, or icy conditions.
- Exposure to dust, odors, gases, vapors, wet or slick surfaces, and loud noises.
- Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
Physical Demands
- Physically arduous position requiring working outside in varying weather types and exposure to the elements.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Must be willing to work either day or night shifts when necessary.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel will be required based on the needs of the project.
- Transportation and lodging are provided while traveling and working out of town for the Company.
Education and Experience
