Civil Affairs Planner, Senior

About the role

As a defense mission professional, you will integrate civil considerations into operational planning across all phases of operations, conducting detailed analysis of civil networks, terrain, and vulnerabilities to inform mission planning and decision-making. You will coordinate with interagency, host-nation, and non-governmental partners to align civil-military objectives and develop courses of action that reflect civil inputs, stability requirements, and governance factors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil elements of operational plans, annexes, and supporting documents
• Audit how military operations affect civilian populations, infrastructure, and essential services
• Monitor ongoing activities to identify emerging civil-related risks and opportunities
• Develop and produce briefings, assessments, and decision-support materials for General Officer or Flag Officer audiences

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in civil affairs planning
• Experience at a Combatant Command or Joint Force Headquarters
• Experience coordinating with interagency, host-nation, and non-governmental partners
• Experience assessing impacts of military operations on civilian populations and infrastructure
• Experience producing briefings, assessments, and decision-support materials for General Officer or Flag Officer audiences

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
