Civic Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Attend client, planning, and construction meetings
• Cook with the Project Architect, Manager, Director, and external consultants
• Perform all phases of the design process, including construction administration
• Select interior finishes, furnishings, artwork, and interior signage
• Lead presentations and communicate design concepts using appropriate software
• Prepare FF&E budgets, purchasing packages, and presentation materials
• Cook with vendor and installation meetings
• Cultivate and market new clients while maintaining existing client relationships
• Cook with senior-level designers on complex hospitality projects
• Occasional travel required

Qualifications

• Interior Design degree from an accredited university (required)
• NCIDQ certification (required)
• 5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality
• Revit experience (required)
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, 3D software, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
• Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and communication skills
