About the role
The Principal Civil Engineer leads and supervises engineering staff in completing a wide variety of projects—from streets, utilities, and City buildings that serve the community’s daily needs to major upgrades at the airport, treatment plants, and operations facilities. Engineers guide the full project life cycle: identifying needs, stakeholder engagement, funding acquisition, design, construction, performance oversight, and continual improvement. The role emphasizes building positive, collaborative relationships, communicating effectively, and serving the best interest of residents on California’s central coast.
Responsibilities

Pay
$138,062–$166,914 annually
