City Delivery Dispatcher

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensure parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
• Avoid errors in pulling orders for city delivery specialists to pick up.
• Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area with bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and communicate any delays to stores.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and reduce expenses, and present recommendations to store manager.
• Monitor hub system and routes for improvements.
• Ensure team members are clocking in and out correctly.
• Research and address parts not delivered as scheduled, making necessary billing adjustments.
• Work with store manager to cover routes in the absence of regular city delivery specialists.
• Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and inspections are thorough and accurate.
• Log daily mileage for all vehicles into asset management.
• Provide feedback to store manager regarding delivery specialists' performance for evaluations.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
