About the role

Our Tellers are the face of Citizens. Our best Tellers think from a relationship standpoint versus a transactional one, have a willingness to learn, and take responsibility for a customer.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in our lobbies
  • Process transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
  • Create amazing experiences for customers, offering personalized advice and solutions
  • Provide educational guidance on Citizens products and benefits
  • Follow financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and adherence to state and local laws and regulations

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
  • Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
  • Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Qualifications

Pay

Starting Salary: $21+/hour and up

The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $22.70 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Hours per Week: 20
Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings
