About the role

As a Citizens Teller, you make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in branch lobbies.
  • Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs to complete simple transactions.
  • Create amazing customer experiences by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their financial needs.
  • Connect customers to Bankers for the next step in achieving their financial goals.
  • Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits, and respond to their questions or concerns.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, and comply with state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Ability to motivate others through collaboration.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Schedule

20 hours per week. Work schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
