About the role
Citizens Teller positions are essential to our customer service model. We are seeking individuals who can provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in our branches and lobbies
- Demonstrate and explain how to use our mobile app and ATMs for simple transactions
- Create and maintain positive customer relationships by offering personalized advice and solutions
- Provide education on Citizens products and benefits to customers
- Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and adherence to state and local laws and regulations
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated customer experience, including recommending and referring products and services to customers
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify customer needs
- Problem-solving and solution-providing abilities
- Comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
