About the role
Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch. They devote their time getting to know their customers and building lasting relationships by providing trusted advice.
Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, supporting spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
- Build lasting relationships with customers, understanding their personal financial goals and recommending tailored solutions.
- Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first ways to handle banking transactions.
- Collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to help customers with more complex financial needs.
- Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
- Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED required
- 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
- Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
- Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
- Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
- Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
- Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask effectively
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Skills
Required skills include strong communication and problem-solving skills, broad range of financial knowledge, and aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues. Preferred skills include 1 year cash handling experience.

Pay
The starting salary is $25 / hour and up. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience. Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $25.48 - $31.25 per hour, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
