Cisco Sales Specialist
About the role
We are a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that equips organizations to be agile and innovative, and for their people to be engaged, connected, and creative at work. This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in your local office 1-3 times per month.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for executing the Cisco sales strategy in your territory, successfully performing against sales targets, and elevating our market position through competitive tactics.
- This includes expanding Cisco investments within our base of existing accounts, while also driving new customer acquisition motions, to increase Cisco revenue and gross profit.
- You will work closely with our Commercial, Enterprise, Public Sector and Telesales sales teams, along with our Operations, Marketing, and Services organizations, to position Cisco solutions based on observed marketplace demands and trends.
- You will participate in category GTM initiatives to strategically engage customers, and motivate our sales teams to generate incremental Cisco revenue.
- Your strong Cisco expertise will enable you to position Softchoice specific Cisco offerings to customers, and support our sales teams in presenting clear Cisco value propositions to our clients, independently, and in conjunction with the appropriate supporting resources.
- This will include the introduction, positioning, and fulfillment of Softchoice-WWT Cisco Assessments and strategic purchasing modalities.
Requirements
Experience with Cisco Enterprise Agreements, and Support (ie- SmartNet, Success Tracks) is advantageous. Successful execution will also require your active support of the local Cisco partnership.
Qualifications
- A deep understanding of Cisco products and services
- 3-5+ years of sales experience (with Cisco products)
- Cisco Sales or Technical Certification preferred

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in NYC is $77,000 - $115,000 plus 30% Target incentives. Chicago and Dallas is $70,000 - $105,000 plus 30% Target incentives. Georgia is $68,000 - $99,000 plus 30% Target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification.
