CIS - Cyber and Network Security Faculty

Overview

ECPI University is seeking a full-time Cyber & Network Security Faculty Member to deliver high-quality, hands-on instruction in cybersecurity and networking at its Greenville, SC campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Cyber and Network Security in a hands-on learning environment
• Deliver instruction in five-week terms with small class sizes
• Provide individualized academic support to students
• Incorporate real-world cybersecurity and networking practices into teaching
• Collaborate with program leadership to enhance curriculum and course delivery
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR Master’s degree with 18+ graduate semester hours in a related discipline Ph.D. preferred
• Experience: 3–5 years of industry experience in cybersecurity or networking (10+ years preferred)
• Experience: Experience in applications of AI in Cybersecurity
• Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence applications in cybersecurity
• Experience: Teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred

Required Technical Skills

• Networking fundamentals
• AI/ML concepts and applications in cybersecurity
• Windows (client/server)
• Linux systems
• Cisco routers and switches

Preferred Technical Skills

• Cloud computing (AWS, Azure)
• Mobile technologies

Required Certifications

• (Preferred) CISSP
• (Preferred) CEH
• (Preferred) AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., Azure AI, AWS ML Specialty)
• (Preferred) CHFI
• (Preferred) CompTIA A+
• (Preferred) CompTIA Network+
• (Preferred) CCNA
