CIO Advisory Senior Consultant
About the role
As a Strategy and Transformation consultant at Capgemini, you’ll support clients to innovate and develop new strategies, services, and products. You’ll design and implement new business and operating models, bringing to life the organizations of the future. You’ll develop customer insights, organizational knowledge, and market perspectives in an AI-first world, where human judgment is augmented with analytics, automation, and generative AI.
The Enterprise Transformation team is seeking consultants who are strong problem solvers and excited to work in an AI-first environment—curious, adaptable, and ready to help clients reimagine how work gets done. You’ll join the Business Technology (BT) team, which aligns with the CIO agenda to shape large-scale technology transformations. BT focuses on strategy-led work, supporting clients with major enterprise technology investments and multi-year transformation roadmaps centered on platform strategy, IT and AI operating models, and enterprise transformation. The team is growing its capabilities in cloud strategy, AI architecture, and CIO advisory, emphasizing innovation, AI enablement, and modern operating models.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams across platform strategy, IT strategy, and operating model design
- Facilitate workshops with CIO/CTO/CISO leaders to drive alignment and decisions
- Build board-ready roadmaps and investment cases tied to outcomes and value
- Integrate AI enablement into platform and operating model strategies
- Translate architecture constraints into practical sequencing and delivery approaches
- Coach junior team members and ensure quality under tight timelines
- Develop a specialization within a specific domain or industry
- Lead a small team or own a portion of a project
- Support sales activities and maintain a client-oriented approach
Requirements
You bring strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understand how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation. You identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness, and you have experience working in AI-augmented ways to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.
- 5–8 years in technology strategy, architecture, or management consulting
- Strong foundation in platform strategy, enterprise architecture, and transformation roadmaps
- Working knowledge of cloud strategy and operating model implications
- AI landscape fluency; ability to design practical enablement approaches and guardrails
- Executive-ready communication and strong client presence
- Comfortable owning workstreams and leading teams in complex environments
- Collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions
- Solid understanding of responsible AI principles (ethics, privacy, security, and governance)
- Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities
Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $100,500–$189,890. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
