Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cinema/Film Studies or Film/Digital Production and/or experience working with filmmaking hardware and software in a similar position or as a member of a film/digital production team.
  • Required: 1-3 years’ experience working with filmmaking hardware and software in a similar position or as a member of a film/digital production team
  • PREFERRED: 4-7 years’ experience working with filmmaking hardware and software in a similar position or as a member of a film/digital production team

Essential Functions

  • Manages equipment reservations, including checking out and returns.
  • Maintains updated and accurate equipment inventory.
  • Repairs and maintains equipment and parts.
  • Manages and maintains files and archives.
  • Maintains necessary paperwork, including invoices and receipts, for budgetary purposes.
  • Communicates with vendors regarding equipment orders and supplemental items.
  • Mets with faculty regarding class preparation and equipment needs.
  • Edits students regarding equipment function and operation.
