Cinema Janitor - Part Time

About the role

The part time janitor position at Sunchase Cinema 8 performs custodial work including cleaning the theater building, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Duties include vacuuming and buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing trash can linings. Other responsibilities involve mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and handling cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Dust and wash walls, clean ceilings, and dust and polish light fixtures.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Removes stains from surfaces like rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Sweeps walks, rakes leaves, cuts grass, removes snow, or performs other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Cleaning the bathrooms.

Requirements

Schedule

This is a part-time position; typical work hours and days are 3-4 hours per night Monday through Sunday, between 8:45 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. On-call status for snow removal. Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
