What You Will Accomplish
- Champion the office environment by fostering employee engagement, collaboration, and meaningful connections within the office.
- Lead the establishment of a new office location, including coordinating the setup and operational readiness of the office space.
- Provide strategic leadership for office growth, operations, and financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of scientists, project managers, and technical experts.
- Drive business development, client management, and pursuit strategy in the greater Cincinnati and Midwest markets.
- Monitor and manage office budgets, forecasting, KPIs, and annual business planning.
- Ensure project execution excellence, QA/QC compliance, and safety culture adherence.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to align office goals with SWCA’s long-term strategy.
- Model and promote SWCA’s core values, employee ownership culture, and commitment to inclusion.
- Serve as a visible leader with regulatory agencies, clients, and industry partners.
- Serve as an ambassador for SWCA’s Safety Culture and implementation.
Experience And Qualifications For Success
- Bachelor’s degree in an environmental, cultural resources, planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of environmental, cultural resources, or related consulting experience.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client management.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage financial performance, and drive operational growth.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or scaling an environmental consulting office.
- Strong knowledge of the Cincinnati and Midwest environmental compliance market.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L management and strategic growth planning.

Salary Range
An employee in this Midwest-based position can expect a salary of $125,465.60-$163,321.60. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.
