Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and analyzing opportunities for process improvements within operations and supply chain management.
  • Support the development and implementation of lean methodologies, including value stream mapping, process flow improvements, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Absorb and organize workshops, training sessions, and meetings to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the company.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records by supporting regular physical counts and reconciliation of inventory data.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by assisting in the ordering processes.
  • Identify and address discrepancies or inefficiencies in inventory control processes.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and contribute to forecasting and replenishment strategies.
  • Support the implementation of inventory control software or tools as required.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to inventory performance, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various departments including operations, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment in process improvement and inventory control efforts.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to inventory discrepancies or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen), or inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools.
  • Prior internship experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain role is a plus.
