About the role

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service while preparing high-quality food in accordance with Church's Operating Standards Manual (OSM).
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Operate, filter, clean, and maintain fryers while following all safety procedures.
• Stock service areas with supplies and maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and display cases.
• Handle cash transactions and report order errors, over-rings, deletions, or equipment issues immediately.
• Supervise shift operations, ensure efficient workflow, and enforce safety, security, sanitation, and cash-handling policies.
• Monitor food handling, storage, rotation, and icing procedures.
• Assist team members during peak periods to maintain service speed and quality.
• Enforce safety, security, sanitation, and cash-handling policies.
• Maintain professional, ethical leadership behaviors at all times.
• Recruit, interview, and staff store with the required number of employees to operate at budgeted hours without overtime or over-budget exceptions.
• Control inventory to maintain inventory shortage performance (at less than 1.0% short to merchandise sales).
• Conduct cash audit weekly.
• Adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and follow company procedures.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Reliable decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic cash handling and inventory tracking.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
• Able to climb a ladder to clean windows.
