About the role

Research, extract, and analyze relevant data to solve problems, draw logical conclusions and make investment recommendations which support business decisions. Utilize industry research tools to capture, research and synthesize essential industry knowledge to support the business in making informed investment decisions. Research, analyze and leverage historical financials, profit margins, strengths, risks and mitigants to support expected cash and downside forecasts.

Requirements

  • Preferred candidate will be a rising Senior (Class of 2028) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitatively focused curriculum
  • Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ability to ensure consistency of information
  • Superior Excel and financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Knowledge of the middle market levered lending market, customers and competitors strongly preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex business and marketing concepts; effective and strong active listening skills
  • Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and gain credibility
  • Innovative and creative thinker; ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out

Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay

$30.00 per hour (base). Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
