About the fellowship

Christopher Thornton is passionate about quality health. He sees the value in a high-quality health care system. This includes making sure everyone is provided quality health care to educating future health care providers and researchers. The work these future providers will do is key to elevating the health care in our country. This is true not just for human health care, but also for animals. Animal health care and the accompanying research not only cares for livestock and companion animals, it also informs human health care. Mr. Thornton chose to establish this fellowship so that students can learn free from the debt load that so often accompanies these types of degrees. He hopes that they may reach new levels of research and health care in the country.
