About the role

The College of Theology at GCU offers bachelor and master’s degrees in Christian Studies with specializations in Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Requirements

• Masters in Divinity (PhD preferred) or Masters in Theology or Masters in Christian Studies from a regionally accredited college or university with coursework in New and Old Testament
• AND 2 or more years professional experience teaching Christian Worldview or apologetics at the postsecondary level
