Christian Grønfeld
About the role
Christian Grønfeldt-Sørensen is one of Denmark's top tennis talents, having made a strong mark both nationally and internationally. In 2024, he participated in the junior US Open, becoming the first Danish boy to do so since Holger Rune. That same year, he was also selected for the Danish U18 team and represented Denmark at the European Championships in Austria, reaching the fourth round after among other things beating the world number 20 on the junior rankings. At home, Christian has dominated Danish youth tennis. He has won the Danish youth championship in singles four times in a row and has also won the doubles titles the last two years. The next step in his career will be in the United States, where Christian starts at the University of Central Florida this summer. This prestigious Division 1 tennis program will help him continue his development both on and off the court, with the ambition to compete on the biggest international stages in the future.
