Responsibilities
- Work with the Musical Director
- Choreograph the musical
- Support and implement Davenport's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics
- Visually monitor students
- Sit, stand, speak, hear, see, and walk to carry out routine duties
- Occasionally lift, move, or push items of 50 lbs, such as assisting children or moving/rearranging furniture
- Drive a district van to transport students
- Supervise students in all types of weather
- Meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality to ensure duties are performed successfully
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and work output of students
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students
- Musical background
- Theatre background
- Flexibility and patience
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, stand, speak, hear, see, and walk
- Occasionally lift, move, or push items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to supervise students in all types of weather
- Ability to drive a district van
Work Environment
- Noise level ranges from quiet to loud
- Work may be indoors and/or outdoors
