Qualifications
- Must be able to pay close attention to detail, as well as be compassionate.
- Level of knowledge normally acquired by completion of a two-year course in Radiation Technology.
- Licensure by State of New York required.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
- One (1) or more years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
Working Conditions
- Works in a clinical setting where there is exposure to computer terminals, electrical high voltages and high noise levels.
- Stands, walks, lifts and positions patients 50% of work day.
- Exposure to radiation, toxic metal fumes, communicable diseases, infectious materials and blood and body fluids.
- Requires vision and hearing correctable to normal ranges, had-eye coordination, manual and finger dexterity, as well as effective communication skills to deal with a diverse group of individuals.

Education

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
